一、学校概况

学校现有2个主校区，下设26个院（部），有8所直属附属医院，7所非隶属附属医院。另有18所教学医院，95所实习医院，45所专业实习基地。学校建立了完整的学士、硕士、博士培养体系，涉及医学、理学、工学、管理学、法学5个学科门类。现有5个一级学科博士学位授权点、3个博士专业学位授权点，14个一级学科硕士学位授权点、10个硕士专业学位授权点，4个博士后科研流动站、4个博士后科研工作站。临床医学、药理学与毒理学、生物学与生物化学3个学科进入ESI全球排名前1%，其中临床医学是新疆首个跻身ESI全球排名前1%的学科，最新千分位排名为2.07‰，药理学与毒理学、生物学与生物化学千分位排名分别为6.88‰和9.84‰。

学校现有国家级实验教学示范中心2个、国家级临床教学培训示范中心2个、省部级及以上科研平台60个。

新疆医科大学自1990年开始招收国际学生，是自治区首批来疆留学高校示范基地、首批接受政府奖学金的高校，被教育部授予来华留学生教育先进集体，现有各层次学历教育留学生680人，已培养了来自印度、巴基斯坦、哈萨克斯坦等41个国家的2600余名国际学生。涵盖专业有临床医学、中西医结合临床医学、中医学、口腔医学、针灸推拿学、公共卫生与预防医学及药学等。

二、预科项目

新疆医科大学留学生预科教育依托学校优越的教育资源，以培养国际化人才为目标，为有志于攻读新疆医科大学本科学位的高中毕业且成绩优秀的国际学生，提供学习培训。我校致力于打造全方位科学育人新格局，力争为留学生在新疆医科大学的学习提供专业级的语言培训、国际化的文化交流、本科衔接融入等多个平台。经过预科学习后，通过考核、达到标准的留学生可申请新疆医科大学本科。

新疆医科大学留学生预科项目致力于在三个方面培养国际学生：

1.学术基本功：通过数学、物理、化学等学科学习，完善学科知识结构，提升“来华留学生本科入学业水平测试”（CSCA)应试能力。

2.中文语言应用力：掌握足够的中文词汇和基本语法，备考HSK4级，课程设有听说读写；

3.文化适应性：了解中国文化，更好地融入大学生活。

一学年项目

适用对象：初级汉语水平或汉语零基础学生

学习期限：2026年9月至2027年7月

项目课程：以中文教学为主，涵盖数学、物理、化学基础知识和HSK考试培训。

学习时长：36周

一学期项目

适用对象：通过HSK3级的学生

学习期限：2026年3月至2026年7月

项目课程：以中文教学为主，涵盖数学、物理、化学基础知识。

三、本科专业

授课语言为中文：临床医学、口腔医学、中医学、针灸推拿学、护理学、公共卫生相关专业、医学工程相关专业

授课语言为英文：临床医学

六、申请要求

1. 申请者原则上要求年龄在18周岁至23周岁之间，身心健康，品学兼优。

2. 符合《中华人民共和国国籍法》相关规定，持外国有效护照的非中国籍公民，无违法犯罪记录。

3. 申请人须持有全日制高中毕业学历（不含中国普通高中）。原则上，小学至高中阶段需接受完整的海外基础教育体系教育。

4. 学习能力要求:前一阶段学业成绩需达到平均分70%及以上。

5. 报名参加为期一学期项目的申请者，需具备汉语水平考试（HSK）三级证书。

6. 具有全日制高中毕业学历（不包括中国普通高中）。

7. 学习能力：前一阶段学业成绩平均达到70%及以上。

备注：申请人具有外国籍的同时是否具有中华人民共和国国籍，以中国公安机关出入境管理部门的国籍认定结论为准。申请人须确保并承诺其不具有中华人民共和国国籍，并应按照学校要求提供相关证明。如在申请、录取及入学后被认定具有中国国籍的，将取消申请资格、录取资格、入学报到注册资格、学习资格或学籍。

八、奖学金信息

预科学习完成后考核进入本科阶段时，成绩优异者将有机会申请教育部与新疆维吾尔自治区人民政府共设中亚国家留学生奖学金、新疆维吾尔自治区人民政府接收周边国家留学生奖学金、新疆医科大学留学生奖学金。

九、医疗保险

根据中国教育部有关规定，留学生须在中国大陆购买来华留学生综合医疗保险。

十、签证信息

被录取的学生须持录取通知书和《外国留学人员来华确认表》（JW202表）到中国驻外使领馆申请来华学习签证。学习时长在6个月以上的须申请X1签证，在抵达中国后30天内需要到留学生办公室将X1签证变更成学习类居留许可。

签证和入境事宜请以最新政策法规为准，学校可根据相关规定出具录取材料，包括录取通知书和《外国留学人员来华确认表》（JW202表）。

1.School Profile

The university currently has two main campuses, comprising 26 colleges and departments, along with 8 directly affiliated hospitals and 7 non-directly affiliated hospitals. Additionally, it operates 18 teaching hospitals, 95 internship hospitals, and 45 specialized practice bases. The university has established a comprehensive education system for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, covering five disciplinary fields: medicine, science, engineering, management, and law. It offers 5 first-tier doctoral degree programs, 3 professional doctoral degree programs, 14 first-tier master's degree programs, 10 professional master's degree programs, 4 postdoctoral research stations, and 4 postdoctoral research centers. Three disciplines—Clinical Medicine, Pharmacology & Toxicology, and Biology & Biochemistry—have entered the top 1% of ESI global rankings. Among them, Clinical Medicine is the first discipline in Xinjiang to achieve this ranking, with a latest percentile rank of 2.07‰. Pharmacology & Toxicology and Biology & Biochemistry have percentile ranks of 6.88‰ and 9.84‰, respectively.    

The university also boasts 2 national-level experimental teaching demonstration centers, 2 national-level clinical teaching and training demonstration centers, and 60 provincial- or ministerial-level scientific research platforms.    

Since 1990, Xinjiang Medical University has been enrolling international students. It is one of the first institutions in the autonomous region designated as a demonstration base for international education and among the first to receive government scholarships for international students. Recognized by the Ministry of Education as an outstanding institution for international student education, the university currently has 680 international students enrolled in various degree programs. To date, it has trained over 2,600 international students from 41 countries, including India, Pakistan, and Kazakhstan，etc. The programs available to international students include Clinical Medicine, Clinical Medicine of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Stomatology, Acupuncture and Tuina, Public Health and Preventive Medicine, and Pharmacy.

2.Preparatory Program

The XJMU International Student Preparatory Program is dedicated to cultivating students in three key areas:

(1)Foundational Academic Skills: to understand basic knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, etc.

(2)Chinese Language: to master sufficient Chinese vocabulary and grammar and to prepare for the HSK Level 4 test; courses include listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

(3)Cultural Adaptability: to have basic understanding of Chinese culture, and better to adapt to campus life and studies in China.

One Academic Year Program

Target Applicants: Beginner level of Chinese

Study Duration: September 2026 to July 2027

Program Courses: Primarily Chinese language learning, and basic knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry and HSK Exam Training.

Study Period:36 weeks

One-Semester Program

Target Participants: Students who have passed HSK Level 3

Study Duration: March 2026 to July 2026
Program Courses: Primarily taught in Chinese, covering basic knowledge of mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
Study Period: 17 weeks

3.Undergraduate Majors

Language of instruction in Chinese: Clinical Medicine, Stomatology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Moxibustion and Tuina, Nursing, Public Health related majors, Medical Engineering related majors.

Language of instruction in English: Clinical Medicine.

6.Application Requirements

(1)In principle, applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 23, in good physical and mental health, good academic performance;

(2) Applicants should be in line with the relevant provisions of the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China, non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passports, and no criminal record;

(3) Applicants must have a full-time high school graduation degree (excluding Chinese ordinary high schools). In principle, primary school to high school should be in line with overseas basic education system;

(4) Learning Ability-the requirement for previous academic grade level is an average score of 70% and above;

(5) Applicants for the one-semester program must possess an HSK Level 3 certificate.

Remarks: Whether the applicant has the nationality of the People's Republic of China while having a foreign nationality is subject to the nationality determination conclusion of the Exit and Entry Administration department of the Chinese public security organ. The applicant must ensure and warrant that they do not hold the nationality of the People's Republic of China and shall provide supporting documents as required by the university. If the applicant is found to have Chinese nationality after the application, admission and enrollment, the application qualification, admission qualification, enrollment registration qualification, study qualification or student status will be cancelled.

8.Scholarship Information

Upon passing the assessments after completing the preparatory program and entering the undergraduate stage, there will be opportunities to apply for scholarships such as the Ministry of Education-Xinjiang Autonomous Region Co-established Scholarship Program for Students from Central Asia, the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China Accepting Scholarships International Students from Neighboring Countries, and Xinjiang Medical University Scholarship.

9.Medical insurance

According to the Ministry of Education regulations of China, Preparatory Program students in Mainland of China  shall purchase international students’ comprehensive medical insurance.

10.Visa Information

Students admitted to Xinjiang Medical University should apply for a student visa at the Chinese Embassy/Consulate in their country with the letter of admission and the JW202 form. International students who will study in China for over 6 months are required to obtain an "X1" visa, which will only be valid for 30 days upon arrival in China; upon arriving in China, they must come to the International Education College and apply for a Residence Permit within 30 days in order to obtain a legal status in China.

Please refer to the latest policies and regulations for visa and entry matters. The university can issue admission materials in accordance with relevant regulations, including admission notice and the JW202 form.
